Naxinwei Launches Next-Generation Isolated CAN Transceiver NSI1150
On April 16, 2026, Novosem announced the launch of a new industrial-grade isolated CAN transceiver. NSI1150 The new device is built on NSI’s third-generation isolation technology, offering ±70 V bus protection withstand voltage and a common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of up to ±150 kV/μs (typical). Compared with the previous-generation product (NSI1050), its reliability and noise immunity have been comprehensively enhanced. In addition, the NSI1150 integrates NSI’s self-developed CAN FD transceiver, supporting communication speeds of up to 5 Mbps.
The NSI1150 supports a variety of package options, including SOW16, SOW8, SOP8, SOWW8, and DUB8, meeting diverse design requirements and making it suitable for a wide range of high-voltage, high-interference, multi-node applications such as industrial automation and control, power and energy, and communications and servers.

Comprehensive reliability upgrade to meet demanding application requirements.
The NSI1150 delivers industry-leading reliability and immunity, featuring a high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of ±150 kV/μs (typical) and a bus protection withstand voltage of ±70 V, enabling it to effortlessly handle the challenges of severe electromagnetic interference and ground potential differences in demanding applications.
In addition, the NSI1150 supports ±6 kV HBM ESD protection and 10 kV isolated-gate surge withstand capability across all pins, ensuring stable communication even in extreme environments. Its isolation voltage ratings are available in multiple options—3 kVRMS, 5 kVRMS, and 7.5 kVRMS—to meet the stringent safety requirements of various applications, thereby establishing a robust safety barrier for critical scenarios such as industrial automation and power & energy systems.
Multiple package options available to support diverse design requirements.
The NSI1150 is available in five mainstream package options—SOW16, SOW8, SOP8, SOWW8, and DUB8—to meet diverse design space and safety compliance requirements. Notably, the newly introduced SOWW8 ultra-wide-body package boasts a creepage distance of up to 15 mm, enabling it to readily satisfy mandatory creepage-distance requirements in applications such as photovoltaics, EV charging stations, and industrial power supplies. This simplifies the safety-certification process and provides greater flexibility in layout for high-power-density system designs. The matrixed portfolio of multiple packages further supports users’ diversified design needs and enhances system implementation efficiency.
