China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Institute 24 for Acoustics, Optics, and Electronics
The 24th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation is located within the Chongqing High-Tech Industrial Development Zone and the Nanping Economic & Technological Development Zone. As one of the earliest specialized research institutes established in China focusing on integrated circuits, it primarily engages in the research and production of semiconductor analog integrated circuits, mixed-signal integrated circuits, hybrid integrated circuits, microcircuit modules, as well as components and subassemblies. The institute boasts a Class B analog IC production line, a Class H hybrid IC production line, and a nationally recognized key laboratory for analog integrated circuits, giving it strong expertise in the development and manufacturing of advanced microelectronic products. Its product portfolio spans a wide range of applications, including analog signal processing circuits, A/D and D/A converters, mixed-signal circuits, power supply and power management circuits, power drive and interface circuits, and RF/microwave circuits. In 1971, the 24th Institute successfully developed China’s first integrated voltage regulator chip, the X60, marking a significant milestone that highlighted the institute’s leadership in China’s power circuit technology. For decades, the 24th Institute has been dedicated to the R&D of power supplies and power management circuits, accumulating extensive experience across circuit design, process manufacturing, product testing, and reliability validation. It has established comprehensive platforms for design, process development, testing, and reliability assessment, laying a robust foundation for the development of its entire range of power-related products. Power supply technology remains the core specialization of the 24th Institute, with unparalleled capabilities that extend from designing cutting-edge power core chips all the way to developing complete power supply solutions.
