China Academy of Information and Communications Technology
The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), formerly known as the Electronic Industry Standardization Institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Fourth Electronic Research Institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and commonly referred to as "CAICT" or "Electronic Four Institute," was established in 1963. It is a public institution directly affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, serving as the nation's foundational, public-interest-oriented, and comprehensive research organization dedicated to standardization in the field of electronic information technology. CAICT oversees the domestic technical management responsibilities for 45 IEC and ISO/IEC JTC1 TC/SC committees, as well as serves as the secretariat for 17 National Technical Committees on Standardization and 24 sub-technical committees under these national bodies. Additionally, the Academy has forged collaborative partnerships with numerous international standards organizations and renowned institutions abroad, playing a vital role in promoting the adoption and application of standards, driving industrial development, and fostering global exchange and cooperation.
The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, grounded in the overarching strategies of building a manufacturing powerhouse and a cyber superpower, centers its work around standardization. Leveraging government-authorized and internationally recognized laboratories, certification bodies, and workstations—operating under the "China SAI" brand—it delivers a comprehensive suite of services: from standards research and testing to metrology calibration, certification assessments, consulting training, information services, and industry insights. By doing so, it provides expert support to governments in policy research, industry management, and strategic decision-making, while simultaneously offering high-quality technical services to businesses and society at large.

How to Use a Multiphase Boost Converter
When the required system voltage exceeds the available supply voltage, a boost converter is typically an ideal solution. However, conventional standard boost topologies are not the only option. In certain application scenarios, phase-shifted multiphase boost converters can deliver superior performance: these converters achieve higher efficiency under heavy-load conditions while significantly reducing the required capacitance values for both the input and output stages.
