Jiangsu Runshi: Runshi Technology Launches the 70V High-Voltage Automotive-Grade LDO RS3009-Q1

The adoption of a 48V bus voltage system in passenger vehicles has been widely recognized across the industry, particularly in new-energy vehicles, where an increasing number of components and modules are being designed to be compatible with 48V systems. This, in turn, places higher voltage-rating requirements on primary power-conversion ICs.

The RS3009-Q1 series low-dropout linear regulators are manufactured using automotive-grade processes, feature a withstand voltage of up to 70 V, and deliver a maximum output current of 100 mA. They are suitable for use as primary or secondary power supplies in 48-V systems, providing redundant safety margins. The key parameter specifications are as follows:
Input voltage support: 60 V; maximum withstand voltage: up to 70 V.
Self-consumed current: 32 μA;
Provides a maximum output current capability of 100 mA;
Supports 1% high-precision voltage output;
High power-supply ripple rejection, with PSRR of 63 dB at 1 kHz and 55 dB at 100 kHz.
Low dropout voltage: 2.4 mV at 1 mA and 5.0 V;
Low temperature drift;
With undervoltage protection;
Features over-temperature protection and over-current protection;
Fast discharge output;
Available in a variety of packages, including SOT23-3, SOT23-5, and SOT223.

Analog chips such as operational amplifiers, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, analog front-ends, and various sensors are typically highly sensitive to noise. Therefore, linear regulators are commonly used in their power-supply designs to deliver a clean, low-ripple supply voltage. The RS3009-Q1 is ideally suited for primary or secondary conversion stages operating from high bus voltages, providing a low-ripple, low-noise output voltage with ample margin for overvoltage tolerance.

The RS3009-Q1 series is available in a variety of standard packages, including SOT23-3, SOT23-5, and SOT223, and offers commonly used output voltages of 3.3 V and 5.0 V.
