Tianshui Tianguang Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (State-owned Factory No. 871), established in 1968 and originally known as the State-owned Tianguang Optoelectronics Factory, was later renamed Tianguang Integrated Circuit Factory. It is a high-tech enterprise under the former Ministry of Information Industry, specializing in the research, development, and production of dual-use integrated circuits and semiconductor discrete devices—products with independent intellectual property rights. Today, the company stands out as the province's sole full-chain high-tech enterprise integrating all critical stages: integrated circuit chip design, wafer fabrication, packaging, and testing. Tianshui Tianguang is recognized as a National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, a "Little Giant" specialized, refined, and innovative enterprise by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and also boasts a National-Level Enterprise Technology Center (the only one in Gansu Province, ranking 118th nationwide). Additionally, it is designated as a High-Tech Enterprise in Gansu Province, a Key Enterprise in Strategic Emerging Industries, a Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, the Gansu Provincial Semiconductor Device Engineering Research Center, a Provincial Industrial Design Center, and a Gansu Provincial Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise.
