Currently, Changguang Group oversees 52 enterprises in which the Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics holds stakes or direct ownership, including two publicly listed companies. Its business areas span six key sectors: optoelectronic sensing, lasers and their applications, spectroscopy and imaging, high-end manufacturing, aerospace, and life sciences & healthcare. To support these businesses, the group has established several robust platforms, such as a nationally recognized science and technology enterprise incubator, a national-level makerspace for innovation and entrepreneurship, a dedicated industrial development fund, and a state-of-the-art R&D center focused on precision instruments and equipment.
