Chengdu Yaguang
Chengdu Yaguang Electronic Co., Ltd., formerly known as the State-owned No. 970 Factory under the former Ministry of Electronics Industry of China—and also referred to as the State-owned Yaguang Electronics General Factory—was established in 1965. It is one of China’s earliest and most prominent specialized semiconductor enterprises, initially focusing on semiconductor triodes and microwave diodes. In 1998, the company underwent restructuring and was transformed into a joint-stock corporation.
Over more than 50 years of growth, the company now primarily produces a diverse range of products, including microwave discrete devices and microwave hybrid integrated circuits; gold-encapsulated triodes and surface-mount diodes/triodes; security equipment, safety protection systems, and related components; cable television products and systems; as well as mobile communication engineering-grade equipment.
Since its inception, our company has undertaken numerous research and production projects for key national infrastructure projects and cutting-edge military technologies. We have supplied critical components and subsystems for advanced systems such as radar, microwave communications, electronic warfare, satellite communications, manned spacecraft programs, lunar exploration missions, broadcasting and television networks, and microwave measurement systems. Today, we stand as one of China’s leading suppliers of microwave diodes, crystal triodes, and RF/microwave circuits, playing a vital role in advancing both China’s defense industry and its civilian electronics sector while steadily growing stronger ourselves.
Our company’s microwave products cover all components within the channel—excluding antennas—and span frequencies from DC to 40 GHz. We specialize in providing long-term, customized solutions tailored to our customers’ specific needs, while also developing a wide range of standardized product lines based on market demands, as well as tackling highly complex, cutting-edge projects. As a leading enterprise in the microwave industry, we are actively involved in numerous nationally funded R&D projects, including key program initiatives like the "Type Spectrum Project."
Our company is undertaking the following type-spectrum projects:
Microwave power combiners and splitters, high-reverse-voltage PIN diodes, compact microwave double-balanced mixers, high-power microwave limiters, modular broadband dual/triple-balanced mixers, triple-balanced mixers, threshold detection circuits, Schottky diodes, broadband microwave power dividers, wideband I/Q modulators/demodulators, NPN silicon high-speed switching transistors, digital phase shifters, analog phase shifter series, satellite-grade phase shifters, 8-mm low-noise amplifiers, wideband ultra-low-noise amplifiers, microwave low-phase-noise PLL frequency sources, satellite-grade frequency converter product lines, PN switching diodes, 0.8 GHz–2 GHz instantaneous frequency measurement SiP modules, C-band/X-band/Ku-band coaxial dielectric frequency sources, P-Ku-band satellite-grade micro-packaged single-pole double-throw switch series, 0.6 GHz–18 GHz digitally controlled delay components, and 6×6 miniaturized matrix switches.
Since its restructuring, the company has operated strictly in accordance with the Company Law, significantly intensifying its efforts in reform and opening up. It has established diverse forms of collaboration with domestic universities as well as companies both at home and abroad, and some of its products are already being exported overseas in substantial quantities.
Since 1997, the company has established four nationally approved production lines that meet military standards (a microwave PIN diode production line, a microwave circuit production line, a microwave control circuit production line, and a crystal transistor production line). In 1998, the company implemented a quality management system compliant with GB/T19001-94 and subsequently obtained the corresponding quality system certification. In 2003, it was awarded the "Military Industrial Product Quality System Certification." Additionally, in 2012, the company successfully completed the transition to the updated GJB9001B-2009 standard.
In terms of quality management, the company boasts a comprehensive quality management system. All raw materials—including chips—are subject to rigorous incoming inspections, while both the design and production processes are tightly controlled, ensuring consistent product quality and continuous improvement.
All outgoing products undergo 100% screening and random testing. Their specifications are tailored to the specific usage requirements of each product, strictly adhering to national military standards, enterprise military standards, and other relevant guidelines—while also accommodating any special requirements from our customers.
The company has established advanced manufacturing lines for thin-film circuit substrates and back-end micro-assembly processes. Additionally, it boasts cleanroom facilities certified to both 100,000-level and 10,000-level standards, equipped with state-of-the-art domestic and international process and testing equipment. All manufacturing processes—such as bonding, wire bonding, and packaging—are fully compliant with the relevant requirements of GJB548A. Moreover, every product undergoes rigorous quality inspections, including lead-tensile strength tests, die shear force tests, sealing integrity checks, PIND testing, as well as shock, vibration, and moisture content analyses—ensuring that we can deliver high-reliability RF/microwave circuits tailored to meet our customers' exacting needs.
