The Xi'an Institute of Aeronautical Computing Technology (China Aviation Industry's 631st Research Institute) is a specialized research institution dedicated to the development of airborne and missile-borne computers, as well as aviation software. Established in 1958, it originated from the Northwest Institute of Computing Technology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Over more than four decades of development, our institute has grown into China's leading center for airborne computer technology within the aviation industry, along with being a key hub for aviation software development, the Xi'an Evaluation Center for Computer Software, and the Design Center for Aviation-Specific Integrated Circuits.
